Valverde del Camino is a small Andalusian town located in the province of Huelva, close to the Portuguese border, and was considerated, more than a century ago, the place where the genuine camperos boots born. With a fully handcrafted production, Valverde del Camino has itself a certificate of origin that proves the procedence of every single boot made, where some of the most renowned footwear companies still have their factories, as in the case of our brand El Estribo.
Initially thought as a work footwear used in the countryside for landsmans, farmers and horse riders to safely step on wet and muddy lands, every camperos boots and their higher version for women, the bota rociera, have remain since our times as a classic footwear with a unique style that is still appreciated by many Spaniards, but also in all America, Europe and the Middle East countries.
